Mega Growth Ghana unveiled its newly rebranded New Wave product line at the Aviation Center on March 27, 2025. The new packaging features an African woman, reflecting the brand’s commitment to celebrating African identity and beauty.
The event brought together members of the Ghana Hairdressers and Beauticians Association (GHABA) from across the country to discuss trends, techniques, and best practices in hair care. A key panel discussion featured Mega Growth Ghana Marketing Lead Angela Baaba, along with Bernice Asantewaa Asantey and Theo Boabeng, the regional president and secretary of GHABA, respectively.
Speaking to the media,Angela Baaba, Marketing Lead at Mega Growth Ghana, emphasized the significance of the rebrand, stating, “This new design places the African woman at the heart of our brand, celebrating her beauty” She also introduced an upcoming campaign, Relax the Right Way, which aims to train hairdressers on safe and effective hair relaxation methods.
The event concluded with a live demonstration on proper relaxer application, where regional president Bernice Asantewaa Asantey shared expert tips on using Mega Growth’s relaxer for different hair types.
This rebranding marks a significant step in Mega Growth Ghana’s mission to empower African women while promoting best practices in hair care.
