The 7th edition of the Tecno Ghana Menswear Week truly encapsulated the essence of style, innovation, and the promising future of menswear fashion on the African continent. If you missed out on this sartorial spectacle, we bring you some unforgettable highlights from the event.
The event which was hosted at Accra’s World Trade Center from August 26 to 27, marked the zenith of African men’s fashion.
Two Days of Runway Magic
The fashion fiesta spanned two glorious days. Day One, christened ‘Abonten,’ which translates to ‘street’ in the Akan language, kicked off in an electrifying display of urban charm. The runway show featured a remarkable fashion collaboration from Dapper Jayden, Famous, FOK Society, Kasa Clothing, John&Co, Adom Gee, and Creative Colour Cells. The runway was a vivid showcase of colors, patterns and urban flair. Streetwear has never looked this good, and the designers showcased their ability to blend comfort with cutting-edge fashion.


Day Two was a complete shift in gear. Held at the Atrium of the World Trade Center, it was an evening of bespoke menswear elegance. Classic tailoring, avant-garde creations – you name it, they had it. Every look was a masterpiece in its own right, an expression of the designers’ expertise and creativity.
Diverse talents hailing from Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Benin, South Africa, and even the UK graced the runway, together painting a vivid portrait of African fashion diversity.
The evening featured a total of 14 incredible collections, showcasing the talents of designers not only from Ghana but also from across the African continent. Among the standout designers were Hector’s Underwear, Rhemdick Klothin, Jude Kea, Remag Style, Nipo Skin, Teed, Kojo Boadi, El Bryt, Madxlee, and Groomsmen Gh.
In addition, the event threw a spotlight on emerging talent, with the three finalists of the KGL Style Man Project designer competition presenting their exceptional designs. Among these talented individuals, Emmanuel Kelvin Quaye emerged as the winner of the Style Man Project 2023.
