Ghanaian fashion brand Neesa Atelier is proud to announce the grand opening of its highly anticipated A&C flagship store at East Legon, set for Saturday, 30th May.
The launch marks a defining moment for contemporary African luxury, doubling as a first preview of the brand’s new
“Dust and Raffia” Capsule Collection.
Located in the heart of prime Accra, the flagship is more than a retail space. It is a living archive of Pan-African heritage. The Dust and Raffia preview embodies a profound dialogue between Malian and Ghanaian cultures, weaving raw jute, hand-spun cord, and time-honoured Bogolan (mudcloth) into garments that feel both ancestral and avant-garde.
Bogolan, traditionally crafted with fermented mud and river clay in Mali serves as the spiritual anchor of the capsule with its striated earth tones echoing the Sahel’s dust. It is fused with Ghanaian raffia and jute, materials long used in coastal weaving traditions, and bound together by intricate cordwork that symbolises the invisible threads of trade, resilience, and shared identity across West Africa.
“This collection is a bridge between two great storytelling cultures,” said the Creative Director of Neesa Atelier. “Bogolan speaks of Malian strength and symbolism; raffia and jute speak of Ghanaian craft and industrial prowess.
