Ghanaian fashion brand Neesa Atelier officially opened the doors to its newest retail location at A&C Mall, East Legon, on Saturday, 30th May, welcoming customers, fashion enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, and notable personalities to an intimate Sip & Shop experience.
The opening marks an important milestone in the brand’s growth journey, expanding its physical presence while reaffirming its commitment to contemporary African luxury rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling.
The event also served as the exclusive first preview of Neesa Atelier’s latest capsule collection, Dust & Raffia, a thoughtful exploration of the cultural connections between Ghana and Mali through fashion.
Guests were treated to a first look at the limited-edition collection, which incorporates hand-spun cord, raffia, jute, and Bogolan (mudcloth) elements to create pieces that celebrate West Africa’s shared traditions while embracing modern design. The collection reflects a dialogue between Malian and Ghanaian craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from the textures, symbols, and stories that have connected communities across the region for generations.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the collection, the Creative Director of Neesa Atelier, Pamela Sarkodee described Dust & Raffia as a tribute to cultural exchange and the enduring beauty of African craftsmanship.
“This collection celebrates the stories that connect us across borders. By bringing together Bogolan, raffia, jute, and cordwork, we wanted to create pieces that honour heritage while presenting a contemporary vision of African luxury.”
Throughout the day, guests explored the new retail space, previewed the capsule collection, and enjoyed an exclusive shopping experience featuring special in-store offers. The atmosphere reflected the brand’s vision of creating spaces where fashion, culture, and community intersect.
The new A&C Mall location has been designed to provide customers with an immersive Neesa Atelier experience, offering access to the brand’s signature collections and future releases within one of Accra’s leading lifestyle and retail destinations.
