The Christie Brown Academy (CBA), in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, proudly concludes its inaugural pilot of the second cohort of emerging fashion entrepreneurs. This momentous occasion will be marked with a Graduation Fashion Show on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Accra Marriott Hotel.

The event will celebrate the journey and achievements of a new generation of African fashion creatives trained by the Academy. Guests will witness a vibrant runway showcase of debut collections created by the graduating class with each piece reflecting the participant’s bold vision and mastery of fashion innovation, sustainability, and cultural expression.

This moment marks the dawn of a new era in fashion education-not just for Ghana, but for the entire continent,” said Aisha Ayensu, Director of Christie Brown Academy. “Our participants have shown that African fashion is more than art; it’s a powerful tool for transformation-one that can tackle societal challenges and ignite the growth of resilient, sustainable communities.”

CBA was founded to redefine fashion education in Africa by equipping the youth, especially young women and economically disadvantaged individuals, with industry-relevant skills, entrepreneurial training, and mentorship to build sustainable brands. The Academy envisions positioning Ghana and Africa as leading players in the global fashion economy through high-quality, impact-driven education.
