Glitz Africa Fashion Week (GAFW) returns to Accra from 10th–13th November 2026, bringing together established designers, emerging talent, models, and industry professionals for four days celebrating African fashion, beauty, business, and culture.
This year’s edition, themed “Sustainable by Design: Shaping Africa’s Fashion Future,” will spotlight the creativity and innovation shaping the continent’s fashion industry. Taking place at The Underbridge, Accra, the event will feature runway showcases from notable designers, including Christie Brown, ATAFO, Ejiro Amos tafiri, Wanni Fuga, LFJ, Pepper Row, StylebyNerd, DOS, BOYEDOE, and Vanskere, among others. Their participation promises a showcase of diverse creative perspectives, contemporary African design, and distinctive approaches to fashion.
The programme extends beyond the runway, offering experiences that connect fashion with business, beauty, and emerging talent. Highlights include the Beauty Forum on November 10 at W.Emporium, Accra; the Emerging Designer Show on November 11 at River Boutique; and the Business of Fashion Seminar and Graduate Show on November 13 at The Underbridge.
The Beauty Forum will explore the theme “Sustainable Beauty by Design: Can African Beauty Grow Without Compromising Its Future?”, bringing attention to sustainability and innovation within Africa’s beauty industry.
Meanwhile, the Business of Fashion Seminar will create space for industry conversations, while the Graduate Show will spotlight the next generation of fashion talent. Through its runway presentations and industry-focused experiences, Glitz Africa Fashion Week continues to provide a platform for designers and creatives to showcase their work, connect with industry stakeholders, and reach wider audiences. With four days dedicated to fashion, creativity, and conversations about the industry’s future, GAFW 2026 invites fashion enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the wider public to be part of the experience.
