Mr. Model Africa #MMA, Ghana’s only male modeling competition will start airing on Sunday February 2, 2025 on GhOne TV at 9pm to officially kick start the 2025 season of the show.
Dubbed ‘ROAD TO MR. MODEL AFRICA’, the ten (10) weeks weekly episodes follows the activities of the 2025 semifinalists in photo shoots, fitness and social project challenges, grooming, seminars etc towards the grand finale in March 2025.
Nana Mensah, Founder and Executive Producer of the show in an interview said, “After the 2020 edition, the event took a break to re-strategize and we are very excited to make a BIG comeback on TV for the 2025 show in partnership with Gh One TV , Starr FM, Envision Africa, Graphic Showbiz, www.MelangeAfrica.com”.
Since the inaugural event in 2014, the MMA brand has created a visible platform for male models who have gone on to do exploits in their modeling careers after participating in the competition. The competition is open to males between 18-35yrs
with sound mind and good health from any African country but resident or schooling in Ghana and aims at DISCOVERING new faces for the fashion and modeling industry in Ghana and beyond.
It exposes potential male models to fashion and modeling industry experts who coaches and mentors them about the proper steps to take in pursuing their careers by taking advantage of the huge platform and exposure the event offers.
Powered by House of Fame, MMA also celebrates uniqueness of men while encouraging them to reach for the ultimate in life becoming role models and agents of change in their communities through an Autism Awareness and Domestic violenc charity project.
