ZIMBABWE FASHION WEEK 2024: A SENSORY CELEBRATION OF FASHION,CULTURE, AND TOURISM

    by melange June 3, 2024

Zimbabwe Fashion Week Trust (ZFW) is proud to announce its highly anticipated return to the iconic Victoria Falls for its 2024 edition, promising an immersive experience that celebrates all senses. Set to take place from the 16th to the 20th of October 2024, ZFW 2024 will be a four-day extravaganza that showcases not just fashion, but also the rich tapestry of arts, cuisine, and culture that Zimbabwe has to offer.

Building on the success of its relaunch in 2023, ZFW 2024 aims to take the event to new heights by offering a diverse program that caters to all tastes and interests. While the main event remains the fashion show, which will feature both local and international designers, ZFW 2024 will also incorporate elements that engage all the senses.

Attendees can expect a feast for the eyes as they take in the stunning backdrop of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. But ZFW 2024 is not just about what you see – it’s also about what you taste. The event will feature a range of culinary delights from local restaurants, offering a true taste of Zimbabwean cuisine.

In addition to the fashion show and culinary experiences, ZFW 2024 will also showcase the talents of artists from across Zimbabwe, with performances and exhibitions that highlight the country’s vibrant arts scene. And for those looking to explore beyond the main venue, ZFW 2024 will also host shows in different areas, providing an opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity of Victoria Falls.

Priscilla Chigariro, the founder of Zimbabwe Fashion Week, shared her excitement about this year’s event and the impact it will have. “Zimbabwe Fashion Week 2024 will leverage the breathtaking backdrop of Victoria Falls to showcase the remarkable talent of our designers. Our commitment is to provide them with a world-class platform and production, ensuring their creativity and craftsmanship receive the recognition they deserve on a global stage,”
