    by melange June 19, 2024

Chalé Clothing Limited, parent to Chalé Socks and Chalé Global brands launched its flagship Store in Accra Friday, June 7 2024.

The Chalé store launch is welcome news for the brand’s vibrant community across Africa, Europe and Asia, representing in their numbers at the launch party held at the store at Tomety’s Heights Spintex, Accra.

The aesthetics of the store gives a glimpse into the brand’s vision, featuring a wall with names of different cities across the world, emphasizing its global friends ethos, an iconic patterned wall with an artistic display of all categories of Chalé Socks and a spot for visitors to sit chat and interact.

“It all began with a personal experience and my love for colorful socks. I’d always look out for Ghanaian and African inspired socks but there weren’t any in the malls, supermarkets or stores. It dawned on me there was an opportunity to bring something culturally relevant and relatable to that space and fortunately there were a lot more people like me. I spoke with my brother and he bought into the idea and we started making authentic, vibrant socks that tell our African story. I’m happy to say that we’ve grown into a clothing brand and I’m excited about the opportunities ahead” Says Chale Clothing Co-founder Kurtis about early beginnings.

Chalé as a brand has blossomed into a global phenomenon, captivating hearts across continents since the introduction of its global friends’ community, Chalé.Global brand.

Mawunyo, Co-Founder said “This is just the beginning, and a testament to the unwavering support of our incredible customers which has grown into a vibrant global community. There is genuine love and belief from our community in our vision and we see it in their enthusiastic patronage of products and their participation in our events and programs. We want to have Chalé Stores across cities in Africa, Asia, Europe and America to ensure our community gets to enjoy the Chalé experience wherever they are”.

The Chalé Store is a symbol of friendship, cultural pride, and the shared journey of a community that believes in the spirited expression of culture, creativity and craftsmanship.
