After an eventful week filled with diverse activities, Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 crowned Ugochi Mitchel Ihezue winner on Sunday, September 10 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Imo State representative, Ugochi Mitchel Ihezue is no stranger to pageantry. She won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MGBN) 2017 and later contested for that same year’s edition of Miss World held in Sanya, China where she placed in the Top 15.
The 26-year-old visual artist and women’s advocate with a master’s degree in Business Administration will represent Nigeria at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. The top 5 contestants at the grand finale were Miss Imo, Miss Zamfara, Miss Ekiti, Miss Lagos, and Miss Anambra.
