Roberta Annan Named as a Jury Member for the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards

Ghanaian businesswoman and owner of the Annan Capital Partners, Roberta Annan, has been selected as part of the jury for Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) Fashion Awards scheduled for September 25 at La Scala Theatre in Milan.

The event is in collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI) of the United Nations and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to honour outstanding Italian and international fashion brands for their works and contributions to sustainability. 

On the day of the ceremony, twelve awards will be given out, and winners will be selected by the international jury. 

Roberta Annan is also the founder of the African Fashion Foundation, an organization that seeks to support and empower Creatives to present Africa’s culture to the world. 

She recently published her book “Ghana Orange Economy,” which brings to light Ghana’s creative economy with a focus on the past, present, and future.
